She helps people learn techniques to relieve pain, add movement and exercise into daily routines, improve their knowledge of ergonomics that are right for them, and decrease absences due to overuse injuries. She is dedicated to working with companies to improve employee health and wellness and decrease absences and insurance costs through health education.
Julie’s goal of life long learning influences her love healing her clients through education and helping people become self-sufficient in relieving their own pain issues. Education and clear communication are essential to her process; She helps people understand what is going on with their body/pain, what to do about it in a easy, fun way, as well as how to discuss it with practitioners or doctors if necessary.
Unlike other Physical Therapists, Julie believes that the healing journey starts in the mind. Through education, she helps shift the way people think and talk about their pain, helping them to reclassify it, better address it and overcome it.
Through health initiatives, lunch and learns, and other talks, Julie helps people learn tips, tricks, and techniques to relieve pain, improve posture, enhance concentration, and more. She teaches people how to use their mind to help instead of getting in their way.
Julie provides many resources to you from insightful nuggets during your session to specific activities for homework. She also provides optional extras like worksheets, books, and exercise cards. All of these resources have your best health in mind and strive to make recovering and maintaining your health fun.

You can choose your own set of talks or select from a list. You will also have recordings of the trainings available for 6 months, so your employees can go back and re-listen at their convenience.
